FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

  1. What should I bring to camp?

Please remember this is only a suggested list. You can adjust this list to suit your own needs.

    1. Sweat socks
    2. 1 pair of good basketball shoes
    3. 5 t-shirts
    4. 5 pairs of gym shorts
    5. 1 sweat suit or sweat shirt
    6. Towels / sheets & blanket or sleeping bag / pillow case & pillow
    7. Toilet articles
    8. Do not bring basketballs
       
  1. What time should I arrive at camp?

Camp will officially begin after lunch on Sunday but you should arrive between 8:30 – 10:45 am. This will allow you to:

    1. Check-in
    2. Put your gear in your room
    3. Change into your basketball clothes
    4. Learn about the facility
    5. Loosen up prior to play
       
  1. Who gets selected for the boys and girls all-star teams?

Varsity players are selected by their coach at the beginning of camp. These players are then evaluated throughout the week during competition with other teams and all-star try outs. After the final try out, the varsity coaches meet and select the players they believe are most deserving to participate on the all-star team.

  1. How many players are selected?

We select a total of 10 boys and 10 girls from the team camps. We also select an alternate in case one of the players is not able to make the trip.

  1. Where does the all-star team travel?

The boys team will fly to Las Vegas for the Big Time tournament. The girls team will fly to New Orleans

  1. How will I know if my son / daughter has arrived at camp?

We will not call to let you know your son / daughter has arrived at camp. We will always call if they do not arrive. Please instruct your son / daughter to call after they arrive and are checked-in at our facility. Cell phones do not work at our location however there will be payphones available for their calling needs.

  1. What time will camp finish on the final day?

Camp will officially end at 6:00 pm. Please arrange your departure after that as to not disrupt the final day.

  1. Is there a concession stand or store available?

There will be a company store available for your son / daughter in the evening. It will sell various snacks, camp gear and small items that may have been forgotten. Food will only be consumed in the cafeteria.

  1. When is my deposit due?

All deposits are due no later than May 15th. Please keep in mind we will only be accepting a certain number of players so the earlier you reserve your spot the better.

  1. When is my balance due?

All balances are due on or before your first day of camp.

  1. What is your refund policy?

Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. Balance payments are refundable for cancellations made up to 2 weeks prior to camp.

  1. What does my tuition cover?

Lodging, meals, & camp t-shirt.

  1. What is the coach to camper ratio?

Our normal coach to camper ratio is 1 coach for every 10 players during our skills camps. The team camp players are under the supervision of their respected coaching staff.

  1. Will there be supervision in the dorms?

Yes. There will be a coach and counselor assigned to each dorm.

  1. Can I come and watch my son / daughter play?

Yes. Our camps are open to coaches and parents wishing to watch players participate in all activities. Meals and lodging must take place on campus for all participants.

  1. Do I need an emergency medical form to attend camp?

Yes. Your son / daughter will be required to provide an emergency medical form to his / her coach for participation at camp. This is needed in case of injury during his / her stay with us. Individual campers are required to provide our staff with a copy of their emergency medical form at check-in. Professional trainers will be on staff during all playing activities.
