About EOBC
Eastern Ohio
Basketball Camp began in 1969 with legendary Hall of Fame Coach Charlie
Huggins and renowned Pennsylvania Coach Ed McCluskey. The duo taught
fundamentals and hard play to some 300 campers over an eight week period.
From its inception
to the present, EOBC has mirrored the personality and coaching style of
its founders.
Located on 36
acres, EOBC now boasts six (6) indoor courts, four (4) outdoor courts,
and housing for over 500 campers per week. The camp features an
in-ground pool for swimming, and a five (5) acre lake for fishing.
EOBC is now
owned and operated by Larry Huggins who is continuing the tradition
of excellence begun by their father. The younger brother of
West Virginia University Basketball Coach Bob Huggins took over operation
of the camp in 2000 and since that time has made many changes and updates
to the facilities.
